Urban Craft “Gilded Soot” Faded Bootcut Denim | Japanese Archive Style

Soot-black indigo burned through with dusty golden-sand fading. This Urban Craft denim has heavy whiskering at the hips, smoky crease marks down the legs and a long, slightly flared leg. Red plaid at the pocket, brass hardware and zipped back pockets keep it loud under the dark wash, like a 2000s Tokyo night that ran until sunrise.

Condition: Very good pre-loved condition, 9/10, with possible light signs of usage. The fades, small distressed spots on both thighs and a little wear on the back pocket are part of the wash. The hems are frayed from wear. No further flaws were noted by the seller.

Material: Sturdy denim with a broken-in, textured look. The dark indigo base is brushed with sandy yellow highlights and deep contrast creasing. The pocket opening is trimmed with a red plaid fabric and a tan, orange-stitched edge.

Styling: Size S–M. Low-slung, straight through the hips and thighs, opening into a long bootcut that falls over boots. Waist 41 cm flat, length 108 cm, leg opening 24 cm. Wear with a fitted black tee, a shrunken band shirt or a ripped knit, and add chunky silver and leather for a Hysteric Glamour-inspired Tokyo nightlife look.
